Help Desk & Clinics

Marion County Master Gardeners provide free research-based gardening advice to home gardeners through our Office Help Desk and Community Plant Clinic programs.

If you have a home gardening question or problem, ask us! We use our experience, training, excellent library and online resources, to help you identify and solve issues with plants, plant diseases, weeds, good and bad insects, soil, lawn care, plant selection and more.

MCMGA Clinics are a great opportunity for you to bring a diseased plant or tree branch for diagnosis … or a bug for identification … etc. … and determine options available. We’ll do our best to answer your question immediately. However, sometimes we need to take more time to research your issue, or to consult with Neil Bell, our Marion County Horticulturist or other OSU experts. We may also recommend another agency or organization for you to contact. Our goal is for you to have the best answer possible.

Stop by and say hello! Share your gardening questions and successes, and let us know how we
can help.

Let's Garden

Marion County Master Gardeners™ are trained certified volunteers who promote the joy and science of home gardening in our community. We answer questions, teach workshops, provide speakers, maintain a demonstration garden, and connect home gardeners to the information they need. The Master Gardener program is sponsored by OSU Extension.
